Richard Frank "Dick" Everhart, age 95, died peacefully alongside the love of his family on Monday, November 13, 2017. He will be with his Lord, and those preceding him in death: his father, Frank, his mother, Edna, his brother Carl, and his sisters Ruth and Ellie and his half-brother Eddy. He is survived by his two sons: Tom, age 63, and Jim, age 60 alongside his wife Terri (Lorenz). Richard also blessed the lives of his wonderful grandchildren: Cory, Kensie, Erin and Kate. Richard preceded his career with military service as an MP during World War II. Dick possessed an incredible work ethic which he exhibited for 44 years at AT&T. After his retirement, he could be found mowing half a dozen lawns in their Kaywood Drive neighborhood ~ well into his eighties. His sense of humor, love of tinkering, and thirst for adventure took he and his beloved Betty on many adventures. When he wasn't gardening or fishing, you could find him on the golf course. Richard was strong, adoring, tenacious, and fun. He was loved and will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 20 at St. Gertrude's at 6543 Miami Avenue, Madeira, OH 45243 with viewing at 8:45 AM and Mass beginning at 9:30 AM. Guests are welcome to join the family at Greenlawn Cemetery, 687 US 50, Milford, OH 45150 immediately following the service. Family and friends will gather afterwards.
