Rena M Bufe (nee Iezzi), asleep in Jesus, beloved wife of the late Otto E Bufe, loving mother of Otto (Rose Ann) Bufe of Beavercreek, Ohio, Joann (the late James) Marksberry of Madeira, and Rena (Michael) Haines of Symmes Twp., devoted grandmother of James (Catherine) Unger, John (Teresa) Unger, Suzanne (Grant) Harris, Stephen Bufe, Laura Haines, and Michael (Kathy) Haines; and caring great-grandmother of Bethany (Alex) Barendregt; Rachel, Rebekah, Jared and Olivia Unger; and Nathan Haines. She was beloved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her lifelong profession as a milliner/hat designer in St. Louis, Norwood and downtown Cincinnati, she served as Chairman of the Auxiliary to the Federation of Lutheran Churches, the Pi Kappa Alpha Mothers Club, the Silverton Women's Club, and the Women's Friendship Circle of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She also served as chairman of the Volunteers for the Auxiliary to the Federation of Lutheran Churches for 15 years, regularly visiting residents of Drake Hospital and the Hamilton County Home. She passed into Eternal Life on May 11, 2007 at the age of 99. Visitation will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5433 Madison Road, Madisonville, Ohio 45227 (513-271-4147) beginning at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 16. Funeral Celebration Service will follow at 11 AM.
