Raymond (Ray) H. Williams, was a loving husband to wife Trudy for 62 years. A wonderful father to Ray Jr, Roselinda (Sandro Cassini), Erin (Adam Laipson), Andrea (Peter Ehoodin), Jennifer, Tricia (Paul Payiatis) and Lisa and grandfather to Kate, Sonya, Kelly, Mark, Eli, Alex, Nick, Lydia, Nicholas, Nina, Peter, Thomas and Stephan and great-grandfather to 6 great-grand children. Ray, a World War II veteran, met his wife of 62 years during WW2 in Germany. During his lifetime, Ray was a true entrepreneur, with his Williams Advertising agency, as a real estate developer in Mt. Adams, as the owner of the Mt. Adams Cinema, and Ehoodin and Williams Art Gallery. Ray had a love and passion for the arts, (as an art instructor), music (Wagner, Winton Marsalis, Bessie Smith), antiques, history and world travel. Rays primary love and priority were his wife and family. Rays was very patriotic; his favorite holiday was fourth of July which he missed this year while being in intensive care. Ray would enjoy the holiday with his grandchildren taking them to the Montgomery 4th of July parade, following with a flag ceremony in his front yard. He was very much a family man and loved to see his family together having picnics, celebrating birthdays and holidays. He also loved to see the smiles and laughter on his children and grandchildren's faces as he would tell his WWII stories and hear his children's stories. Christian burial is Monday July 26th. Visitation at 10:00AM and Mass immediately following 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord. 5935 Pandora Avenue (Pleasant Ridge). Burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he had touched.
