Ralph Paul Erlick Jr. at rest Nov. 19, 2018. He is survived by grandsons Charles, Michael (Carrie) and Kevin (Emily) Cox; great-grandchildren Emma, Matthew, Isabella, Brady, and Cora; step-daughter Colleen (Edward) Phillips, step-grandchildren Steven, Mark, Catherine, and Mary Lynn; step-great-grandchild Wyatt. He was preceded in death by wives Mary Ellen (nee Rechel) and Mary Catherine Kay (nee Conlon), daughter Lois, sons-in-law Charles Cox and William Smith. The only child of Ralph P. Erlick Sr. and Gladys Van Ness, Ralph was born in Norwood, OH and was the first male baby baptized at Norwood Presbyterian Church in 1921. Ralph retired from Ford Motor Company, Sharonville, after 30 years of employment. During World War II he served as an Intercept Operator and was instrumental in locating enemy ships in the Atlantic. He was active in many organizations including the Kiwanis, the Masons, and American Legion. He helped organize American Legion Post 744 on Cincinnatis east side. An avid genealogist, Ralph was a lifetime member of the Hamilton County Genealogical Society. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road from 10AM until Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
