Rae-Jeanne Carr, age 60, beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes (Tierney) Carr, died suddenly Wednesday November 4, 2009 at her home in Cincinnati. Rae Jeanne was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1949 and was a life-long resident of Cincinnati. Rae-Jeanne was a graduate of Indian Hill High School. After graduating summa cum laude from Xavier University in 1971, Rae-Jeanne studied for a Masters degree in English at Xavier and then spent most of her career in advertising and marketing for many Cincinnati advertising agencies. Rae-Jeanne is survived by her uncle and aunt, Tom and Vaneta Tierney, and her cousins: Sue Asher, Debra Etienne, Lynn Etienne, Terry Etienne, Nancy Niemeier, Pat Robb, Carol Stemler, Ann Sweeney, Greg Tierney, Tim Tierney, Dick Sweeney, Pat Sweeney, Diane Gorman, Vernon Carr, Patty (Blum) Jones and David Rowe. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Saturday November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis De Sales church at 1600 Madison Road, Cincinnati, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The burial ceremony will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, Ohio.
