Mrs. Peggy Griffin (nee Maness) Gate City, VA joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Madeira Health Care Center, Cincinnati, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on August 31, 1935 and was a resident of Scott County, VA. She was a life long member of the Fairview Apostolic Church, Fairview, VA She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Eliza (Burke) Maness. Brothers Jim and Guy Maness. She is survived by her dedicated husband, Elmer D. Griffin, Gate City, VA. She was a loving mother to Michael Dewayne Griffin, wife Pam, Timothy C. Griffin, wife Susie of Kingsport, TN, and her daughter Melody Griffin Hamilton, husband Trevor of Cincinnati, OH. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grand -children. Peggy was the dear sister of AlmaJean Truelove, Kingsport, TN, and Joe (Geraldine) and Billy (Ada) Maness of Blackwater, VA. Funeral arrangements are pending.
