Paul W. Grant, "Happy Pappy", 71, while riding his bike home with golf clubs in tow from his last round of golf, died suddenly of a heart attack on November 15, 2009. Paul leaves in our care the love of his life, Ruthanne; his cherished children: Robin A. Grant of Center Harbor, N.H., Attorney Paul M. (Roberta) Grant of Akron, OH and Dr. John L. (Robin) Grant of Salisbury, MD; 2 sisters, Norma (Dana) Brownell of Carlsbad, CA, and Diane (Stewart) Smith of Bradford, Mass.; 8 cherished grandchildren, many loved family members and friends, and of course, Face. Paul, a Veteran of the United States Navy, spent his professional career as a Quality Control Engineer. He spent his retired career appreciating the gift of life, most preferably on the golf course and sailing. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19th from 4-8 p.m. at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Kenwood. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20th, at St. Anthony's Church, Madisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita School for the Deaf, 1720 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215 and MEAC food pantry, 4600 Erie Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
