Paul John Arling, retired co-founder and CEO of Arling Lumber Company, passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 85. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Rita Ann (nee Martin), six children: P.J. (Gwen), Pam (Steve) Scherer, Rita (Chris) Jacobs, Kim (Tony) Longi, Brad, and Matthew, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and his sister Claire (Tom) Cahill. Paul is a Catholic Big Brother and dear friend of Vince and Bob Kleinholz. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter John and Clara (nee Schaiper), sister Beatrice (Brinkman) and brothers Donald, Walter John Jr., Roger and Walter Jay.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Church on September 17, 2022, at 10AM. The Mass will be live streamed, www.Allsaints.cc . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elder High School for the Bradley Arling Scholarship Fund , 3900 Vincent Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45205.
