Norma Mary Wilson, 97, passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family on June 12, 2026, at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born on October 12, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Norma was the daughter of James S. Pierce and Helen (Nordhoff) Pierce.
Norma spent many years dedicating herself to caring for her family and creating a loving home. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew her.
Norma married Donald Leonard Wilson on May 13, 1950 at St. Agnes Church in Bond Hill (Cincinnati Ohio). He preceded her in death on August 22, 2008. Together they built a family rooted in love and commitment.
A woman of deep faith, Norma was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Church. She found joy in spending time with her family and cherished the many memories made throughout her long and meaningful life.
Norma is survived by her four children, Dr. David (Kristi) Wilson, Diane (Carl) Tabar, Steve (Vicky) Wilson and Ronald (Judy) Wilson; eight grandchildren, Tracy, Kelly (Jonathon), Ross (Ya), Hilary (Diego), Tracy (Matt), Stephanie (Gamy); fifteen great grandchildren, Hailey, Zachary, Aleigha, Nathan, Stephen, Harvey, Mathew, Bella, Riley, Ryder, Alexandre, Mateo, Leonard (Leo), Jade and Olivia; and her sister Geraldine Pierce Keegan.
In addition to her husband, Donald, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Louise Norhoff; and her siblings James Pierce, Eugene Pierce, Marion Barrett, and Roselyn Dunn
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:45 am to 11:45 am, at the Community of the Good Shepherd, 8815 E Kemper Road, Cincinnati. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A meal will follow the burial at the Community of the Good Shepherd, 8815 E Kemper Road, Cincinnati that all are welcome to attend.
