Nettie Irene Hill, born April 28, 1938 in Sugar Grove, NC, passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 85.

Survived by her brother Dennis May and family of Vilas, NC, sister, Joyce Neblett and family of Gastonia, NC, nephew Clint Hill, cousin Marcella Tilford and husband Carl, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Irene was preceded in death by her loving, devoted husband Paul, her parents Dexter and Mary May, and brothers Dallas, Walter and Joe May.

Irene was a kind, caring and generous person. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, July 25th at 10:00am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am - Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd 45236.
