Michael Thomas Christopher Tabb, 44 years old, August 8, 2010. Survived by his beloved, Heather Clamme and her daughter, Olivia "Oie" of Indianapolis, IN; parents Donald and Carol Tabb of Cincinnati; brother, Jeffrey Tabb (Shelby Lattuca) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; sister, Kelley Bender (Eric) of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews, Miles and Bailey Tabb of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; Carolyn, Michael, Liz, and Emily Bender of Cincinnati; aunt and uncle Ronald and Sandy Schroeder of Florence KY; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins; preceded in death by his grandmother, Lavina Tabb Wilmerding. Affectionately known as "the Tabber," Mike was a graduate of All Saints Catholic Elementary School and Archbishop Moeller High School. He also attended the University of Cincinnati. During college, Mike was employed at GE Card Services, where he worked for 15 years before taking employment with Sallie Mae Corporation in Indianapolis. A highly dedicated and trusted employee, Mike ultimately became Director of Telecommunications at Sallie Mae, responsible for the company's global telephone systems. In July, he celebrated his tenth anniversary with Sallie Mae. Tall and handsome, Mike was extremely devoted to Heather, his family, and their dogs Piper, Maddie, and Chubs. Though he had diabetes for most of his adult life, Mike was always ready to provide a favor or spend time at a family gathering. He enjoyed golf and Disney World and taking care of his home and lawn. Mike's lifelong musical loves included U2, Duran Duran, and Coldplay. In addition to his technological skills that his family often relied upon, Mike shared a legendary sense of humor with his loved ones, friends, and colleagues. He was a gifted impressionist and raconteur who often left his audiences in pain from laughter. Oie and his nieces and nephews always looked forward to Mike's loving and playful teasing. Mike's family was proud that he donated his organs to several recipients. His vitality and exuberance for life have blessed those of us fortunate enough to have known him, and will now sustain and touch others.
