Michael J. Moriarty, passed away on November 14, 2009 in Long Beach, CA. He was born on January 23, 1932 in Detroit, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; Michael and Mary Moriarty, and his brother, Joseph Moriarty. He is survived by his loving brother and sister; Jeremiah Moriarty and Norene Feeney (husband Jim), his 4 nephews, 2 nieces, his great nieces and nephews, and many loving cousins in Cincinnati and Richmond, VA. He will be especially missed by his coffee buddies in Long Beach; Joe, Dave and Mark. Michael grew up in Detroit and Cincinnati. He also served in the Naval Reserves. He then relocated to southern California where he worked in retail and real estate sales. In the 1970's, he went to work for Long Beach Transit Co. He retired in 1994. Committal Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 23 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Rd., Montgomery, OH.
