Michael P. Haag Sr. Passed away peacefully Wednesday  September 11, 2024 at home surrounded by loving family Beloved. Husband of Sue Haag(James).  Beloved father of Denise Bowen( late Scott Bowen) ,Michael P Haag Jr(Lisa Hamilton) ,Tammy Sturgill(Lonnie Sturgill), Mark Haag and Barbara Haag.  Beloved papaw to Scotty Bowen, Austin Godbey, Lonnie Sturgill Jr., Ashley Wells, Christina Wells and Destiny Wells. He has 8 great grandchildren. He spent his professional custodial career working for Forest Hills School District. His friends and family would describe him as a jokester or prankster. He was a very generous man who would do anything to help anyone he could. He enjoyed working on automobiles.  He was a very private man that loved spending time with his family. He is proceeded in death by his parents Harold Haag and Anna Haag(Reynolds's). He is proceeded in death by his siblings Mary Ann Haag, Sonny Haag, Patricia Godfrey,  Bill Haag, Tony Haag and Timmy Haag(Moose). He is missed and loved by anyone whose life he touched. Visitation will be held at Gilligan Funeral Homes in Kenwood on September 21st, 2024 from 10 AM-12 PM, the family will be holding a celebration of his life at his home following the service .
