Melvin Dale Counts, Sr., beloved husband of 60 years to Rosemary M. (Beck) Counts. Incredible Dad to Melvin Counts, Jr., Denise Hill (Bruce), James Counts, Cathy Counts (Tom Mertens) and the late Cheryl Rose Walden. Adored Grandfather to Rose, Deana, Joani, Lauren, Patrick, Erin, Jordan, Christina, Bruce, Brittany, Jennie, Jim and Emily, and 7 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Howard and Frances Counts. Dear Brother of Dorothy Hierholzer. He touched the lives of many through his 38 years of work at CSX Railroad. Melvin was a man of deep compassion and love, whose love impacted all with whom he interacted. Departed Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 80.
