Melissa D. Ronan, age 56, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022. This marked the end of her three-year-long battle with a Glioblastoma. Melissa was a loving fiance to Marvin "Curt" Carpenter. She was the beloved daughter of the late Violet and Daniel Ronan. Melissa was the youngest of 8 siblings, the late Robert and Joyce. As well as, Janet, Daniel (Phyllis),  David (Sandy), Deborah, and Lee (Sherry)  Ronan. Devoted mother to Mark Clayton Jr, Jenna Clayton, Erika Clayton-Taylor, and mother-in-law to Angela Bird-Clayton. Cherished Grandmother to 15 and Great Grandmother to 3. Not to forget, she was an adored aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Melissa dedicated her time to working at Wesley Hall and Bayley Place. Melissa loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed crafting, bowling, and watching her favorite NFL team the Cincinnati Bengals along with the Cincinnati Reds. She was a proud member of the St. Lawrence Parish. She lived her life to the fullest and gave it her all up until her very last day. Her strong will and zest for life will never be forgotten. We will forever carry her memory close to our hearts.

For those who would like to pay their respects and say goodbye, funeral services are as followed; Visitation will be held at Gilligan Funeral Homes 3671 Warsaw Ave Cincinnati, OH 45205. On Wednesday, June 15th from 5-8 PM. Church services will be held at St. Lawrence Church the following day, beginning at 10 AM. Funeral procession immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery 3819 West 8th Street Cincinnati, OH 45205.
