Maureen L. Peterson (nee Ahern), 47, beloved wife of Christopher H. Peterson, loving mother of Kelsey and Hanna, dear sister of Mark, Matthew, Jude, and Michael Ahern, daughter of Darleen Ahern and the late Edward Ahern of Yarmouth, MA passed away peacefully on June 25, 2011. A grateful recipient of heart and kidney transplants, she will be forever remembered for her optimism, sense of humor, brave resilience and dedication to her family. Visitation will be held on Tues, June 28th at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road from 5-8 pm. Funeral services at St. Gertrude Church on Wed, June 29th at 10 am. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and reception to follow at KCC. Memorials to Donate Life America in honor of Maureen L. Peterson.
