Mary Judith (Judy) Pater, the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Pater Jr., passed away April 2, 2019. Never was there a person with more patience, love, and understanding. This was her KEY to raising eleven children. She was an involved parent in each of her 11 children's lives, whether it was attending Marlin swim practices or meets, soccer practice or games, school activities, or family travels. She had a special gift to be completely involved in each child's interest without ever leaving any other child feeling uninvolved. Her love was limitless. Not only did her children grow within this love, but spouses felt this special love as well. Beginning with her children and with each new generation, this love only grew. She encouraged each child and grandchild, to achieve to the best of their ability. She has children and grandchildren who have excelled in the performing arts, medical field, law, business, music, teaching, and art. Some grandchildren and great-grandchildren continue to discover their talents. The love she has shared with her children will continue to each new generation to come. Her children are Patti (Eric) Buchroeder, Ann (Reid) Rooney, Raymond C. Pater III (Scott Knox), Mary Pater (Bill Nally), Kathy Pater, Michelle (Tom) Frank, John (Nancy) Pater, Steve Pater (Tina Davlin-Pater), Christina Pater, Michael Pater (Michelle Pembaur), and Kevin Pater.
