Mary Josephine “Jogie” Bacciocco O’Leary

Mary Josephine “Jogie” Bacciocco O’Leary passed away peacefully at her home on August 15, 2026. She was born in Cincinnati on October 28, 1936, one of nine children of Charles J. and Mary Josephine Bacciocco.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, A. Charles “Charlie” O’Leary; her mother and father, Charles J. and Mary Josephine Bacciocco; her brother, Charles J. “Mo” Bacciocco Jr.; her sister, Claire “Sugie” Tully; her sister, Sarah “Sally” Delaney; and her son-in-law, Ed Crane.

Jogie will be deeply missed by her children Andy O’Leary, Terry “TO” O’Leary, Beth Crane, Tote (Bob) Brodbeck, Susan (Steve) Koesterman, Molly O’Leary, and Kathy O’Leary; her grandchildren Megan (Nick) Sluterbeck, Patrick, and Ryan O’Leary; Tyler (Paige), Jake (Krista), Ben, and Luke (Nicole) Brodbeck; Steven (Caroline), Abby (Zach), and Katie Koesterman; her eight great grandchildren Hudson, Ava, Teddy, Parker, Johnny, Charlie, Leo, and Scottie; her five sisters Carolyn, Ann, Betsy, Susan, and Cindy; and many nieces and nephews.

Jogie attended Sacred Heart and went on to Newton College of the Sacred Heart, and finished at Our Lady of Cincinnati College. Her greatest loves were her husband, her family, and her faith. Throughout her life, she had many interests and hobbies; most recently, she enjoyed reading, puzzling, and a great happy hour.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church, 3105 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45209. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. If so desired, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The L.I.O.N. Foundation.
