Mary Alice Jorling, born May 21, 1936, died peacefully on December 20, 2017 at the Marjorie P Lee home in Hyde Park after a long illness. Mary Alice was predeceased by her parents Catherine and Joseph and brother Joseph Jr. (Jay) and sister in law Rosemary. She is survived by her brothers Dave (Ann) of Lake Oswego, OR and Tom (Sandy) of Williamstown MA and sister in law Elizabeth. Mary Alice graduated high school from Sacred Heart in 1954, initially attended Marygrove College in Detroit and graduated from Edgecliff College in Cincinnati in 1958. After a career as an accountant/bookkeeper with several Greater Cincinnati firms, Mary Alice retired in 2000 followed by many years as a volunteer with many City charities. Mary Alice was a devoted and loving Aunt to nieces Jennifer, Jessica, Julie and Mimi and nephews Jim, Jeff, Joe and Jeremiah and their children. She was also a loving Mom to all her dogs including Josie, Binx, Shadow and Willie. The family of Mary Alice Jorling invite you to join us on the 21st of April, 2018, as we gather to celebrate her life, to remember her dedication to her God, her service to her community, and her love of her family and friends. There will be a Mass of Remembrance at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 611 Sycamore Street, Cincinnati, at 10 oclock the morning of the 21st. Following the Mass, there will be a reception from 11: 30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Hyde Park Country Club, at 3740 Erie Avenue, Cincinnati 45208. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marjorie P. Lee Home in Cincinnati or Save the Animals Foundation in Cincinnati.
