Mary Jean Houchen, 90, passed away on December 19, 2015. She was born in Falmouth, Kentucky, on June 29, 1925. She is survived by her son, William Dennis Swaney; her sisters, Bonnie G. (Robert) Wright and Helen L. (Albert) Berne; nephews, Robert Wright, Jr. and David Tarvin, and nieces, Linda (Thomas) Sperber, Janet (James) Bonfield, and Ann Tarvin. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry L. and Mary F. Houchen and her sister, Frances M. (Wilford) Tarvin. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:45 P.M. on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Following the visitation a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. A second visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Falmouth Baptist Church, 403 Maple Avenue, Falmouth, KY 41040 with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, 409 Ridgeway Avenue, Falmouth, KY 41040.
