Obituary

Mary Lou Hennessey, born in 1927, the only daughter born to Otto and Pauline Reifert; youngest sister to brothers Bob and Richard Reifert. Beloved wife of John Hennesey (deceased 1996). Mother to John, the late Jim (Maryanne), and Robert (Carolyn). Loving grandmother to Eric, Alecia, Alyson, Kat, Monica, Claire, and Christie.

Mom and Dad met in their hometown of Toledo, OH and eventually settled in Cincinnati on Timberknoll Dr behind All Saints Church. Mom grew up Catholic and was a firm believer in her faith. Mom and Dad wintered in Stuart, FL in later years, with Mom moving south full-time in 2010.

Mom was a member of the CCW (Council of Catholic Women) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and volunteered at the Blake Library in Stuart. Mom moved back home in 2017 to The Seasons in Kenwood. Mom enjoyed gardening, painting, Bridge, and spending time with friends and family. Regrets included losing her husband much earlier than expected and their middle son. Mom lived a long life, enjoying good health in body and mind, and was cheerful throughout.

Special thanks to the staff at The Seasons and Courtyard for their excellent care and companionship. Thanks also to special friends Pat and Lisa for their loyal friendship and generosity.
