Mary Elizabeth Sweeney(nee Serey) Beloved wife of the late Joseph Roger Sweeney Jr. Loving mother of Elizabeth "Beth" Landy (David) and the late Veronica Sweeney. Cherished grandmother of Sarah E. Stephens, Leigh S. Stephens and Matthew C. Landy. Dear sister of George Serey and the late Ellen Kohrman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was an avid gardener and birdwatcher, she loved many animals especially dogs and horses. Mary was one of the founding parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Mary's High School, Mt. St. Joseph College and later in life received her master's degree from Xavier University. Passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 89. No visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the College of Mount Saint Joseph or a charity of one's choice.
