Mary F. (nee Kornfeld) Beck, 85, died on Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Cincinnati. Formerly of Louisville KY, she was the devoted wife of the late Robert W. Beck. She is survived by 2 sons; James H. (Rene) Beck of Cincinnati and Thomas E. (Elizabeth) Beck of Philadelphia, 2 grandchildren; Jonathan E. Beck of Wilmore KY and Olivia F. Beck of Cincinnati. Her oldest son, William D. Beck, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha F. Kornfeld, and her parents; Edwin C. Kornfeld and Emma Be Kornfeld, all of Louisville. She received an undergraduate degree from Duke University where she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and she earned a Master of Teaching degree from Spalding University in Louisville. She retired as an elementary school teacher in Louisville and moved with her husband to Cincinnati in 2003 where they were residents of Seasons Retirement Community. A Burial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 8 at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
