Marjorie Charlotte Gimpel (nee Kane), age 94, died February 2, 2009. Devoted wife of the late John T. Gimpel. Beloved mother of Jon T. (Mary) Gimpel of Cincinnati and Kathy (Joseph) DeAngelo of Hamilton, Ohio. Sister of Donald Kane (deceased) of Wilmington, Illinois, and Dorothy Lankenau (deceased), of Plymouth, Michigan. Beloved grandmother of John (Paige) Gimpel. Caitlin (Todd) Ryan, and Joseph DeAngelo. Great grandmother of Elizabeth and Benjamin Gimpel and Madeleine Ryan. Marjorie was a native of Joliet, Illinois and moved to Cincinnati in 1959. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 6 at 10 A.M. at St. Gertrude's Church in Madeira. Visitation will precede the service at 9:00-9:45 A.M. at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
