Marion Carry Rich Surrounded by family and friends, Nonny fought cancer in the same way in which she lived her life; without fear and with great humor. Nonny loved her family and friends, her horses and dogs, Glengarith Farm and all wildlife. She was an accomplished equestrian, teacher, bridge player and dedicated public servant. She had been actively involved in Cincinnati's Family Service, the Cincinnati Zoo, Planned Parenthood , The Mercantile Library, Camp Stepping Stones and was a founding member of The Miami Valley Pony Club. Nonny was married to the late Jerome 'Jerry' Rich for 48 years and is survived by her five children: Michael, Carry, Gordy, Diana, David and eight grand children. Nonny was born and raised in Lake Forest, IL, graduated from the Ethel Walker School and Sarah Lawrence College. Nonny and Jerry cherished their nearly 60 years in Cincinnati, residing in Indian Hill, and for the past 25 years, wintering in Tubac, AZ. Nonny will be forever remembered for her fierce independence and intelligence, her quick wit and unrelenting honesty. She will be dearly missed. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 6PM on June 30th at her home, Glengarith Farm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to IRSF, the International Rett Syndrome Association, 4600 Devitt Dr., Cincinnati OH, 45246.
