Marie C. Kenney

Marie C. Kenney (nee Reichelt) passed away on Wednesday, October14th 2026, at the age of 88. Marie is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Joseph W Kenney and her late daughter-in-law Peggy Kenney (nee Sublett).  Marie issurvived by her children Jay Kenney, Jeffrey Kenney(Carolyn), Michael Kenney (Peggy)and Kathleen Allgeier (Mark). Proud Grandma to eight grandchildren Julie Bressler(Gregg), Michael (Kristen), Megan Patzelt (Chris), Justin (Chelsie), Ryan (Lindsay),Angela, Rachel (Wes) and Michael. Marie had ten great grandchildren Evie, Lila, Liam, Joanna, Sophie, Dawson, Kyrie. Josie, Olivia, and Isabella. Marie is survived bynumerous nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Cincinnati Marie was a proud graduate of McNicholas High School. Marie was known for her dry sense of humor, quick catchphrases, and always lending a helping hand to family and friends. She may have been a woman of a few quick quips but had a huge heart. Marie is reunited with her husband and late friends and family members. Marie and Joe have finally reunited and will be laid to rest together eternally. Marie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday 10/25/2026 at Gilligan Funeral Home 8225 Montgomery Road. Marie will have a Memorial Mass to be held Monday October, 26 2026 at 10:30 am at Guardian Angels Church followed by entombment held at Gate of Heaven cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
