Obituary

Marie Ann Keller, resident of Sharonville, passed away November 6, 2017, at Mason Christian Village. She was 80. Marie Keller was born September 10, 1937, in Norwood, Ohio. She was the youngest of four children born to Joseph and Viola (Chirco) Gagliardo. Her parents and two brothers, Anthony and Joseph, preceded her in death. Keller was a graduate of Norwood High School and attended the University of Cincinnati, where she interned with The Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company. Prior to her marriage, Marie worked at her father's grocery store, Kenmont Foods in Kennedy Heights. She was also employed as a secretary in the administrative offices of Xavier University. Marie married Joseph Rahe Keller on August 21, 1959, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Kenwood. They resided at their home on Merrymaker Lane in Kenwood together until Joseph's death in 1990. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Marie, wife of Thomas M. Barhorst of Mason, and grandson Joseph M. Barhorst. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Kunkemoeller of Kenwood, sister-in-law Connie Gagliardo of Finneytown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, November 13, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church in Kenwood, with the Rev. J. Dennis Jaspers officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Sycamore Township. There will be no visitation. Memorial gifts may be directed to Ursuline Academy's Endowing the Legacy Campaign, Hospice of Cincinnati, or Mason Christian Village.
