Together Again Riding On That Highway In Heaven

Marian lived a long and full life. She was promoted to heaven at age 92. Marian met her husband Bob (Robby) at age 14. They were married 61 wonderful years. They had two daughters, and raised their family in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had a love and big heart for her family above all. Her greatest joy was being with her husband. They loved music and loved to dance. Marian was an amazing cook and loved to entertain. She also enjoyed sewing, ceramics and crafting. They both retired at a young age, affording them the ability to travel. Marian and Bob had a love of the water. When their daughters were grown, they spent their summers at their place at Indian Lakes. They wintered in Florida. They permanently relocated to Florida in 2003. Marian loved to play cards and games. When her California family visited, they would spend endless hours playing card games. They made many good friends at Timber Greens in New Port Richey, FL. She was involved in the Red Hats Society with her friends. We were blessed to have her caring, kindness, food, and most of all her love. She will be truly missed. Marian will join her “Robby” at the Florida National Cemetery.

Marian is preceded by her husband Robert O. Roberts, her parents, Al and Betty Dauro, and her dear sister Jean Barbaruolo. She is survived by her daughters, Sherra Caruso (Kevin deceased), Linda (Steve) Pohlman; grandchildren Amber, Jamieson, Sean, Sarah, Cullen and Corey; great grandchildren, Emery, Raelin, Samuel, Keira and Maggie. She is also survived by her brother Don Dauro, and sisters Joanne Donahue and Beverly Martin.

A visitation will take place from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on April 25, 2026, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home on April 25, 2026.
