A member of SAI (Sigma Alpha Iota) since 1935, her music sorority meant a great deal to her. She loved the Matinee Musicale Series of the CSO, was active in the Dayton Music Club and played many seasons of the Summer Opera program. Margaret married fellow symphony member and violinist, the late Herman Wasserman. She was predeceased by her sister, the late Louise Henning Whyte of Dayton and her sister-in-law Florence Wasserman Mitman of Cincinnati. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law (Jim and Debbie Wasserman of Milford, Ohio, and David and Marney Wasserman of Flower Mound Texas). Six grandchildren were dear to her heart; Matt Wasserman of Denver, Colorado; Nick Wasserman of Austin, Texas; Sarah, Jacob and Luke Wasserman of Milford; and Kate Wasserman of Flower Mound. Active in her church, Peggy taugt Sunday School for many years and was a member of several handbell choirs. At the end of her life, she was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, Madeira.
