Margaret Gallaway Hopkinson, 74, passed away on March 30, 2018. She was born January 23, 1944 to George and Agnes (nee Helmer) Gallaway. Margaret graduated from Saint Mary High School in Cincinnati. Margaret then became a Sister of Charity for 15 years. As a Sister she received her BA degree from The College of Mount Saint Joseph. Margaret then continued her education and received her Master degree of science in home economics education from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Margaret became a teacher which she absolutely loved to do. She taught for 38 years mostly teaching middle school science and religion. She retired from Saint Michael Sharonville. George was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Agnes Gallaway. Beloved mother of Mark Hopkinson. Margaret loved her entire family especially her brother George and wife Kathleen (nee Myers) Gallaway. Visitation will be held Friday, April 6, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at the Church. Interment to follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Our Lady of Grace School, Attn: Mandy Kirk, 2940 W. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45239 or to Mason Christian Village Benevolent Fund, 411 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040.
