Maha Groeber (formerly Joseph and Momary) was born in Homs, Syria on February 21, 1947 and passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 6, 2023.  Her death was the result of an aortic dissection.  She was employed at the University of Cincinnati for 31 years.  She is survived by her husband Ron, her sister Mouna, her children Calvin (Joanna), Mike (Carmella), Erica, and her grandchildren Gabrielle, Lila, Zachary, and Brayden.  She was preceded in death by her father Rafik, her mother Thuraya, her brothers Khalid and Marwan, and her son Martin.  She loved to laugh and dance, and to landscape her home. She was well loved for her great cooking.

The Visitation and Funeral will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Gilligan Funeral Homes at 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236.  The burial service will immediately follow the funeral service at the Spring Grove Cemetery.  Flower contributions can be sent to Gilligan Funeral Homes at 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236.
