Mae Worpenberg Caywood

Mae Worpenberg Caywood, 92, passed away on September 24, 2026, at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash Inpatient Care Center.

Mae Caywood was born on February 16, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH, to Gilbert Worpemberg and Mae (Keith) Worpenberg.

Mae married John C. Caywood on July 23, 1955 at St. Gabriels.

Mae was best known for her cooking, flowers and landscaping, bridge and spending time with her family.

Mae is survived by her son, John (Janet); her daughter, Cindy; 5 grandchildren, Sondra, Perry, Stephanie, John Paul, and Jessica; and 7 great grandchildren; Zachary, Monica, Alexis, Allyson, Thomas, Harper, and Harrison.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mae is preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Bobby, and Gayle.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
