Madeleine E. Garvin ('Missie") passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Missie was a vital component to the growth and expansion of Cincinnati Dental Services (CDS). Founded by her father and his energetic partners, Madeleine joined CDS after graduation from the University of Cincinnati Dental Hygiene program. At the time of her retirement, Missie was an active CDS partner/owner following in her father's footsteps to provide quality dental care in the Cincinnati region.

A woman of strong work ethic and a true lifetime learner, Missie was a great and empathetic leader, taking pride in her profession and in her fellow employees.

Her greatest joy and purpose was in helping and uplifting others as well as her devotion to her Catholic faith. These qualities not only applied to those in her profession but were greatly expressed in her love, passion and loyalty for her large family, extended family and her many dear friends.

It's as though Mother Teresa's quote "Do small things with great love" were Missie's words to live by.

Missie's ability to always be an "on call" listener and advisor to her surviving siblings will truly be missed by Becky Garvin-Gibson (Jim), Kathy Garvin Thompson, Peter Garvin (Cindy), Julie White (Fred), Emily Garvin Cook and Maryann Garvin Blackburn (David).

"Aunt Missie" never wavered in her pride, joy and intense love for her 15 nieces and nephews and to their 14 children, she will be fondly remembered as the most the generous, doting, love-hugging "GGM" ("Grand God Mother").

Celebration of the life of Madeleine E. Garvin will be Monday, February 17, 2025 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 10:45am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
