Obituary

Kathleen Louise Ford Hall died November 17, 2019, after a long battle with breast cancer. It was her second occurrence, which she had been fighting for over two years. She was the beloved wife of Marc W. Hall; a devoted mother to Jackson and Grace Hall; and a loving sister to Matthew, Patrick, and Jerry Ford. She is also survived by a niece and a nephew, and her adopted cat children Calvin and Hobbes. Katie was an avid writer whose works included beautiful poetry, reflective pieces, and even journalistic ventures. She was a lover of the outdoors, and could often be found hiking, adventuring, or tending to her garden. Katie's passionate heart motivated her to become involved in many great causes, including cancer research. She epitomized strength and was an inspiration to so many. Even in the face of a daunting diagnosis, she was always hopeful and committed to beating the odds. Katie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, as she would have wanted. Friends and family are invited to attend her Mass of Memorial on November 22, 2019 at 11 am at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, OH 45140. Following mass, we will proceed to her graveside at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. If inclement weather persists, we will gather instead at the GoH chapel. She will be laid to rest beneath the bell tower. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
