Abbott, Kathleen Ann “Kathy” - Beloved wife of Curtis M. Abbott, Sr., together for 40 years. Loving mother of Curtis M. Abbott, Jr., Zachary M. Abbott, and Michael F. (Jenna) Abbott. Adoring grandmother of Curtis M. Abbott, III, Xyomara M. Abbott, and Michael D. Abbott. Dear daughter of Marilyn R. Janson and the late Frank J. Janson, Jr. Devoted sister of Cindy Janson, Patty Janson, Frank (Lynn) Janson III, John (Susanne) Janson, Sherry (Todd) Harrison, Kim (Ray) McRoberts and David Janson (Nikki Ashbrook). Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 58 years of age.

Kathy was best known for singing loudly to her favorite music, reading, playing with her grandchildren, spending her days outdoors gardening, hiking and camping. She also enjoyed boating with friends and family, attending craft fairs, sporting events, and traveling. Most of all Kathy was known for her ability to strike up and carry a conversation with strangers and walk away as life long friends.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
