Kathy, beloved cousin of John Maloney, Georgia (Mark) Root, Teresa (Todd) Uterstaedt, Christine (Jeff) Poth, Meredith (Todd) Meyer, John (Katie) Schutte, George (Jeana) Schutte, Sarah (Jarrod) Stykes, David (Meagan) Schutte, Jr., Sean Hafer, John Lee Maloney, Lauren (Michael) Elam, Jason Root, and Clayton Schutte. Beloved "aunt" to Johnnie, Andrew, Frances, Joshua, Tyler, Henry, William, Jenna, Charlie, and Alexandra. She was preceded in death by her father William H. Berger, mother Helen Berger (nee Maloney), brother William M. Berger, and cousin Lorna Schutte (nee Maloney). She was proud graduate of Xavier University and a lifelong Muskies fan. Beloved colleague and friend of Dennis (Kathy) Shiels and family. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 11th at the age of 61. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Bellarmine Chapel (Xavier University) at 3800 Victory Parkway in Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday (November 19th) at 10 am. The family will receive guests at the church starting at 9 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
