In Hamilton, Ohio on Tuesday December 24th, 1957, born the daughter of Edward and Helen Von Seelen, Karla blessed our world with her arrival. Sadly, on February 23rd, 2025, Karla of Las Vegas, Nevada departed this life. On eagle's wings, she was taken to her heavenly home. Heaven gained an angel; Earth lost a beautiful soul.

Karla lived!! She packed so much life into her 67 years. She chased her dreams and fulfilled her passions. Never saying no to adventure, in her enthusiastic and adventurous nature, she traveled throughout the USA and abroad. She worked in nursing, a profession she loved.

Karla was a beacon of light, her warmth, positivity, and love touched so many lives. Her selfless nature led her to always put others needs before her own.

She is survived by her brother, Stephen Edward Von Seelen, several nephews, and cousins whom she loved unconditionally. Also, she is survived by countless dear friends, and her non-blood sisters, who will lovingly remember and cherish all the time they shared. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Catherine Ann, as well as her best friends and companions, her pets. Over the years, Karla opened her home and her heart to many cats and dogs including: Twinkle-toes, Laverne, Shirley, Shredder, Delilah, Miss Kitty, and Hershey, just to name a few. They gave her comfort, companionship, happiness and devoted love. Her to them and them to her.
