June H. Farrell (nee Harten) Resident of Mt. Lookout passed away Sunday at age 83 of congestive heart failure at Deupree Health Center. June was raised in Amberley Village and graduated from Mt. Notre Dame. She possessed a great many warm and endearing qualities and enjoyed socializing with lifelong and close friends. She had a lighthearted and fun-loving way about her. She seemed to be able to bring the best out of everyone she met. She appreciated life and kept an optimistic and cheerful attitude. Simply put, "Everybody loved June." She was preceded in death by her husband James in 1993. She is survived by her four children, daughters Patricia Gangloff (James) of Anderson Township and Kathleen Shiels (Dennis) of Mt. Lookout, and sons James (Lisa) of Mt. Lookout and Michael of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother David Harten of North Avondale and eight grandchildren, James, Amy and Steve Gangloff; Patrick, Sean and Kelly Shiels; Kelly and Kerra Farrell. No visitation. Services will be held at Christ the King Church in Mt. Lookout this Saturday at 10:am.
