Joyce Marie Norris died in her sleep on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Courtyard at Seasons. Joyce was born October 28, 1930 in Bethlehem, PA. She was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Education. She was an avid bridge player and had served as executive secretary and board member of the Cincinnati Bridge Association and had achieved Silver Life Master ranking in the American Contract Bridge League. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; James and Harriett Rife, by her sister; Phyllis Wilt, and two sons; Andrew and Todd Norris. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Norris, and three sons; James (Lola) Norris of Laredo TX, Blaine (Margaret) Norris of Dublin OH, and William (Carrie) Norris of Toledo OH. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Elizabeth, Sarah and Megan Norris, and Tinskua, Tekuani, Tsapki, Eraani, Quanah and Ashuni Perez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery at Galbraith from 3:30 PM until Funeral Service at 5:30 PM.
