Joseph W. Zarick, 86, of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 7, 2015. He was a member of St. Gertrude Parish. Joe was a long time resident of Seymour, IN where he owned and operated several businesses. His faith and family were the main priorities in life. He was an accomplished baker and he loved sharing his love of baking with anyone who was interested. He had a great wit and warm smile and he never met a stranger. Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Joseph M. Zarick and daughter, Suzanne (Zarick) Mosbey. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou Zarick and their children, David, Stephen, and Gregory (Judy) Zarick, Kathryn (Brian) Harbrecht and Sara (Jim) Gutting; daughter-in-law, Nancy Zarick, son-in-law, Dallas Mosbey as well as 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, including Suzannah (Terry) Miller and Brooke and Mathew Zarick, of Seymour, IN. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at St. Gertrude Parish, 6543 Miami Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45243. Friends may visit Thursday from 10:00 am 12:45 pm at the St. Gertrude Church Community Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the woundedwarriorproject.org.
