John "Jack" F. McGraw of Ft. Thomas, KY (formerly Norwood OH), passed away June 7, 2022 at the age 91 with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Dixie M. McGraw (nee Piffer) for 27 years.
Loving father of Patti (late William) Luken, Kathy (late Steve) Davids, Mike (Donna) McGraw, John (Angie) McGraw, Kerry (Paul) Beeber, and the late Kevin McGraw. Florence McGraw of Cincinnati, OH, is the mother of his children. Proud grandfather of Brandon (Carly) Luken, Christopher (Monika) Luken, Kali (Nick) Scott, Daniel, Meaghan, Tyler, Jordan, and Mitchell McGraw, and Kyle and Erin Beeber, as well as 7 great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lila, Nora, Nolan, Kami, Joelle, and Jordyn.
Jack is also survived by his sister-in-law Diane Storer, numerous nieces and nephews, friends and dear neighbors including Linda Mica, Lisa Kelly, and Lynne Brueggen.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents John W. and Mary (nee Calnan) McGraw of Norwood, OH, siblings Mary Julia "Dudie" Smith, and Sr. John Maureen, SC, and niece Ann Smith Durbin.
Jack attended St. Matthew School (Norwood, OH), Purcell High School (Jack Thomas McGraw) Class of 1948, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in business from Xavier University in 1961 (a proud "Day Hopper").
Jack proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Oriskany. After serving his country, Jack worked for the US Postal Service and later as a Manager for the IRS in Cincinnati, New Orleans and Covington before retiring in 1988.
Jack was a big fan of Xavier basketball and his beloved Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed playing golf and "occasional" trips to the casino.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13th at Bellarmine Chapel at Xavier University 3801 St Francis Xavier Way, Cincinnati, OH from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. The Mass will be live streamed through their YouTube channel HERE . Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
