John F. McCormick, age 84 of Montgomery, died Friday August 19. Loving husband of 56 years to Mary (Bishop) McCormick. Beloved father of Pat (Bruce) Buckley, John Jr. (Sharon) McCormick, Chris (Jay) Schuermann, Marty McCormick, Joe (Joan) McCormick, Peggy (Tony) Platz, all of Cincinnati and Kevin (Mary Ann) McCormick of Dunwody, GA, Tim (Ann Marie) McCormick of Dayton and Bridget (Eric) Meschen of Phoenix, AZ. Preceded in death by daughter Mary McCormick. Grandfather to 40, great-grandfather to 5. Visitation Monday, August 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road at Galbraith, Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gertrude Church, Madeira.
