John Edgar Johnson, age 51, beloved husband of Margaret (Meg) Olberding, beloved father of Caroline Grace Johnson (age 5) and Adam Shelby Johnson (age 2), dear son of Ruth Peterson, dear brother of Tom Johnson (Debbie) and Sally Johnson Fiorini (Tom) all of Portland, Maine, died Sunday, November 2 after a brief illness. John was also loved by his father-in-law Gregory P. Olberding and his wife Sally Fellerhoff, 12 sisters-and brothers-in law, and 19 nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, November 5, from 4-7 pm, Gilligan Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn Ave., Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 6 at 10 am, Bellarmine Chapel, Xavier University. In addition to the service in Cincinnati, there will be a service and burial on Long Island, Maine on Satuday November 15 at 11:30 a.m. with a reception following. Memorials may be sent to the "John E. Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund" established by family and friends for his children at any 5/3rd Bank location (or send to 5/3rd Bank, 4812 Vine St., Cinti OH 45217) or to the Development Department, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Charles B.
