John "Jack" C. Willenborg

John C. “Jack” Willenborg passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the age of 93, surrounded by his two sons.

He was married to his late wife Hilda for 69 years. Hilda passed December 23, 2025 at the age of 91.

John was the loving father of two sons, Bob and Mike, daughter-in-law, Kathleen and two grandchildren, Michael and Samantha.

He was a member of All Saints Church for 48 years.

John attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Roger Bacon High School, Class of 1951.

In 1953 John enlisted in the US Army: Company “B” – 44th Armored Infantry Battalion, Combat Command “A”- 6th Armored Division – 3rd Platoon.

He was stationed in Germany and France.

After the service John’s interest turned to automobiles, including his 1956 Buick. He would spend 46 years in the automotive industry.

Another interest included woodworking where John built a Grandfather Clock, large outdoor wooden swing set, standing coat hangers, designed from an antique coat hanger, wooden wheelbarrows, etc.

Once John retired his wife Hilda and him loved to travel, including international trips to Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They also traveled with other seniors from the Blue Ash Senior Center.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 20, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236, followed by a Catholic Mass at 10:30 am at All Saints Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be observed.
