John G. Gross, devoted husband and best friend of the late Marian S. Gross, beloved father of Carolyn (Gross) Hinkle and John T. (Chris Doerfler) Gross, adored grandfather of Robert (Erica) Hinkle, dear brother of Jacob R. (Betty Jo) Gross and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Kate and David Shepherd and Papa John to Lily. Departed Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the age of 89 after a brief illness. No visitation.
