John Howard Geer, 78, Montgomery Ohio, passed-away quietly Sunday morning, October 23, 2011. John was born in Marion, Ohio. He met his wife of 55 years, Sue Hasbrouck, while attending Ohio Wesleyan. John owned a drycleaners in Evendale Ohio, which to this day operates as Anthony's. John was dedicated to the outdoors, was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, boating and camping. He had a passion for photography, and the Great Lakes Historical Society. He enjoyed his vacations to Ruggles Beach and any time he could spend with dogs. John is survived by his wife Sue Hasbrouck (Barnesville, OH), and children; Fritz (Cindy), Mary Geer, Susan Dickens (Tim), Amelia Kubicki (Michael), and Rebecca Bravard (Steve), his grandchildren; Chelsea, Hank, Virginia, Jessie, John and Molly. Services, Friday, Oct. 28 at Twin Lakes Retirement Community, 9840 Montgomery Rd., 45242, with a Service (4-5 PM) and a Celebration of his life (5-7 PM). In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to Twin Lakes Benevolent Fund.
