John Caywood, Sr., age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Loving husband to Mae (nee Worpenberg) for 66 years. Loving father of John, II (Janet), and Cynthia Lucas. Cherished grandfather of Sondra (Kerry) Stein, Perry (Tati) Lucas, Stephanie Abney, John Paul Caywood, and Jessica (John) Allshouse, and great-grandfather to Zachary, Allison, Monica, Alexis, Thomas, Harper and Harrison). Treasured brother of Glenna (Brad) Foust, and Edward (Patty) Caywood.

He was enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. A graduate of Xavier University. He was a kind, honest, family loving man. His favorite place, besides home, was a golf course. He also enjoyed playing Bridge, and Euchre. His memory will be etched in the minds of everyone that knew him.

Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd., (Kenwood) from 9:00-9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00am, All Saints Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations to All Saints Church, or in the form of Masses for John.
