John Leo Bengal, loving son of the late Anthony and Margaret Bengal; loving and devoted husband to Jef of 44 years; cherished father of John (Lyndsey), Matthew (Makenzie) and Faye; proud grandfather of Aiden, Nora, Lucille, Jackson and John; proud brother of Carol (Robert) DeNeefe, Joe (Marla), David (Yvonne) and the late Stephen Bengal and Robert Bengal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John passed away Sunday, January 16th, the morning after a long awaited Bengals playoff victory. He passed suddenly, but peacefully; but far too soon. Being an avid football fan, John, along with his wife Jef, founded the Kings Youth Organization, and dedicated many years to coaching not only his sons, but countless other young men. He was an accomplished salesman, skilled woodworker, and muscle car enthusiast. But his greatest joy was being, "Papa."

Visitation at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati OH 45249, Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 9am until the time of the Mass at 10am. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
