Joan Ziegler Hogan, age 100, of Cincinnati, formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles M. Hogan and cherished mother of Judge Timothy S. (Jeanne) Hogan, Jon P. (Linda) Hogan, Dianna Hogan(Stephen) Indorf and Dennis M. Hogan. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Joan was a talented artist attending the Columbus Academy of Art and Design in her youth. She was also a lover of music, growing up in a household with parents who played classical violin. Joan enjoyed gardening, dining out, and attending all of her family's events. She had a strong faith, actively attending mass until the age of 100. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, September 8th from 5:00pm 8:00pm at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30am at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio.
