Jerome J "Jerry" Silvati, preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey M. Silvati and his second wife, Mary Vordenberge. He is survived by four children, Michael (Susan) Silvati, Joseph (Karen) Silvati, Michelle (Randy) Hardin and Tina (Pat) Abbatiello. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Michael (Tera) Silvati, Staci Turner, Jake ( Ashley) Silvati, Christina Silvati, Zachary Abbatiello, Bailey Abbatiello and Vinny Abbatiello. Jerry also enjoyed the company of four great grandchildren, Brayden Turner, Taylor Turner, Ava Silvati, and Sophia Silvati. He passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Shawnee Springs at the age of 86 after a lengthy illness. Jerry graduated in 1949 from Purcell High School and later became a Korean War vet. He led a very selfless life and always put his family first. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 30 at St. John The Baptist Church at 509 Harrison Avenue in Harrison Ohio, 45030. Visitation will be held from 9 AM till noon at the church with the Mass at noon. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make any donations to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
